What does Data Centers cover specifically?
The full data center power value chain. We track 1,000+ data center projects and the generation powering them, including powering models (grid, behind-the-meter, hybrid), equipment procurement, permit and filing status, and evidence-backed credibility assessments.
What makes your coverage different?
Most data center intelligence focuses on real estate: location, capacity, vacancy, leasing. We focus on what is inside the data center and the power infrastructure around it, connecting the buildout to the power market at the project level.
How does the credibility score work?
It is an evidence-backed assessment of whether a project will get built, scored on eight factors: project status, scale, developer tier, financing signals, power supply arrangements, powering plan, estimated time to power, and commercial offtake. Scores are live for every relevant project and available via export.
Who is it built for?
Utilities deciding which developers to sign with, OEMs and equipment providers sizing demand, investors and banks underwriting projects, and developers benchmarking their power strategy.
What geographies do you cover?
We track data center projects globally, with extended power data focused on the US first, since it is the largest and most active buildout. International coverage keeps expanding.
Where does the data come from?
Regulatory filings (building and air permits, PUC dockets, FERC filings), interconnection queues, developer announcements, trade press, and direct validation from market participants. Our AI engine enriches it and our analysts validate it.
Can I run the model on my own project?
Yes. Use the self-serve dashboard, or our analysts can run your site and assumptions and walk you through a full project assessment report.
How is it delivered?
In the Currence platform, as Excel, or inside Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot through the Currence MCP. API access is available as an add-on.
